We need your help. Many of you already know that puppy mill dogs endure horrible lives of suffering and neglect. But because of a loophole in the Animal Welfare Act, puppy mills that sell puppies exclusively online operate without any federal regulation at all. Dogs are suffering, and it’s time we put an end to the hidden inhumane treatment.

Please Help!
Right now we have a chance to help close this loophole forever. The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) is considering a rule that would regulate online puppy sellers, and we're fighting hard to make sure it's effective. But we need your help today!

Please tell the USDA to start licensing and inspecting puppy mills that sell dogs online. We have a limited time to fight for this rule.

i wish that the people who runs these kind of puppy mills would have to put threw the same thing they put the animals threw. dirty cages and sleeping in there our wastes. YES STOP PUPPY MILLS. It's a shame that American's do not regulate this cruel practice. Surely if Congress supports extravagant parties at the White House and giving tax cuts to the wealthy, money can be supplied to not only crack-down, but eliminate this insane business.

Cannot believe we legitimze and allow Puppy Mills which are the equivalent of a concentration camps for Dogs. Hitler and Germany made money off the 11 million they starved workd and then sold their teeth and hair. It's too bad that there are cruel breeders out there like this who make it impossible for those of us who breed out of pure love and desire to share a beautiful breed. I find it quite offending to be considered a puppy mill just because I breed my dogs. What most of you soap box screamers don't know is that I give them as gifts too and I could never explain the joy my pups have brought to other families. I adopted from shelters for many years and support those programs. However, I think it is pathetic to be scrutinized for a kind and caring way for me to share the love of a specific breed of animal.

Unfortunately there are too many people out there just trying to make money off the lives of dogs. They are more than just a dog and whether they come home happy or not the conditions they live in are not humane and no animal should be treated that way.

It is a horrible situation and to allow the mills to continue without serious regulations is not something anyone should want to have been part of during ones life time, please change now stop puppy mills now not later. please please stop the puppy mills. i feel that when a puppy (the same as a child) is bought up in an unhealthy environment the puppy is more likely to have negitive traits and find later in life also become more aggressive over food on walks over their owner toward their owner and so forth. there fore leading them to a short lived life. no puppy in a puppy mill knows any different. thats all they have ever known. they are trammled straved eaten or sold to whom ever opens the wallet and end up some times in dog fighting rings or on your plate at a function whereyou thought you ordered the duck. they are skinned for their fur and a price tag is placed onthem, reading $$$ 1270.00 passed off as furs from around the world, really it should read furs from around the puppy mills. this is the truth and we should be their voice with out us they are not finding the help they need. we see so many animals go into sheltters and left out sode of vets and so forth that those beautiful animals are put to sleep with out a home. it isnt fair what right do we have. the way i see it, we are here to protect and preserve.

PLEASE....if you have any heart at all, stop puppy mills. It makes me so sick to think of the pain and suffering this is causing so many dogs. This is no doubt one of the most inhumane thing any person can possibly do, and whoever is a part of something like this makes me sick. Pet store and online Puppy Mills are a major reason our animal shelter are always at full capacity. Everything is fine with the animal for the first couple years; then the health problems start. They are no longer the cute little puppy; with lots of energy, so they end up being neglected until they die. Or are put down to 'save' the animal from a life of pain and suffering. Even worse are the ones who are taken to the shelters. No one consides them because they aren't a puppy and have health problems that would be too expensive for most to deal with. There are too many dogs without homes.they shouldn't suffer because of human errors. They deserve love too. They have feelings and nerves as well. Think of how many lives would be saved by closing just one mill. But we can't think small, they all need to be shut down for good!
