National Spay/Neuter Month Memes

Does it seem like there are too many animals and not enough homes for them all? Well, you’re right! And the biggest cause of pet overpopulation is failing to spay and neuter your pets. You’d think people would have gotten the message by now—spaying and neutering saves lives! But there are still tons of unwanted litters. What gives?

February is National Spay/Neuter Month, and we could use your help to spread the word. Please share one of our spay/neuter memes on your social networks—like Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest. They're funny, informative and a really easy way to remind people about the importance of spaying and neutering pets. Visit our collection of shareable memes today, and let us know which one is your favorite.

Thanks for helping!

That is my english setters picture who you are using on this page. I was never contact about anyone using it or editing it. Where was it found and why is it being used without my permission?

Bet you posted it on facebook, nothing is private on there and they (facebook) can use your info and pics without asking. Bummer

I am all for spay and neuter your dogs. I have a little terrier that came to me, she needs to be spayed, but I just don't have the money, I have seen real inexpensive clinics, that seem like a hatchet job, I want her to my own Vet, but have to wait, now I think she is coming into heat. I hate not having the money for her! I feel there should be nice clinics that can do the spay for very little money and I know more people would go to them. I live in the Inland Empire of So. Cal.

Speak with your vet about allowing you to make payments. Many vets will allow this if you pay a down payment. Vets will also offer special rates during spay/neuter awareness months so be sure to ask your vet about options. She will be healthier the sooner you're able to get it done.

If you get a Care Credit card you can charge vet bills to it. You have to find a vet who accepts the card, but many do. You will have either 6 months or one year to pay off the charge, depending on the amount you charge. If you pay it off within the time frame (6 to 12 months) there is NO interest. This is how I take care of my pets. http://www.carecredit.com/

A teacup puppy store opened up in my town. It sells jewelry and puppies. The puppies are displayed in a glass window and are never taken out of the store. These puppies go for $1200 plus. We are a tourist beach town in Florida and I know that many people buy on impulse. What can we do about these stores?

Thanks for sharing. "To spay or not to spay" is my favorite one.

that is so kool and cute
