Slugger & Michelle (WINNERS)

Eleventh Hour Rescue
Submitted by Michelle Cilurso: I helped save more lives during the $100K Challenge by volunteering my time to set up a photo shoot with professional photographer Jill Caren. She generously volunteered her services to our dogs, so their pictures would be more visually appealing to potential adopters.

Danielle & Macy

Talbot Humane
Submitted by Sherrie Schuman: I helped my shelter save more lives by supporting these best friends in their continued ventures to have lemonade and cookie stands (and hot cocoa during the winter). All proceeds go directly to Talbot Humane and all the animals they help.

Luca

Eleventh Hour Rescue
Submitted by Linda Leondi: I helped save more lives by adopting Luke, now Luca which means "bringer of light." I am going through a lot this year, and Luca has certainly brought light into my home. He came to us unsure and afraid. But just look at him now.

Baxter

Humane League of Lancaster County
Submitted by Leslie McRobbie: I helped save more lives by adopting Baxter, a terrier puppy who has now completed our family. My daughter Audrey is so happy to be a big sister to such a furry little friend. We are thrilled to give Baxter his forever home and to let him work his magic in our hearts.

Eleanor

Bangor Humane Society
Submitted by Irene Dyer: I helped save more lives by volunteering at the Bangor Humane Society with my daughter. We also helped by adopting a kitten. We spotted our new kitten Eleanor yawning, and thought this would make a very cute photo.

Chocolate Mike, Jr.

Baltimore Animal Rescue and Care Shelter (BARCS)
Submitted by Agata Brown: I helped save more lives by fostering several kitties that needed a home. Chocolate Mike, Jr., was an orphaned bottle baby that showed up at the shelter, thanks to a good Samaritan. I took him home and bottle-fed him, falling in love with him from the beginning. My husband and I decided to add him to our pack and permanently adopt him.

Mr. BabyCat Scraps

Baltimore Animal Rescue and Care Shelter (BARCS)
Submitted by Molly Carter: I helped save more lives during the $100K Challenge by adopting my diabetic foster kitty! We were in love and could not wait any longer.

Sebastian

Last Chance Ranch
Submitted by Laura Sobolusky: About six months ago, there was a puppy found on the side of a road presumed to have been hit by a car. LCR rescued him and raised the necessary funds to repair his extensive injuries. I started taking him on a weekly volunteer Sunday dog walk. One Sunday, he went a little too far and was having trouble getting back, so I helped him. I am happy to say that Sebastian found his FURever home that day!
