Shelby

SICSA
Submitted by Liza Burns: I helped save more lives by adopting the most amazing shepherd mix ever. She's the sweetest dog I've ever met. She has so much personality and is so intelligent. Of course she's a puppy and likes to get a little mischievous, but mostly she is just lovable and sweet. I think she's added more to our house and lives than we could ever to hers.

Boots

Great Plains SPCA
Submitted by Katherine Kitzerow: I helped save more lives by loving animals and wanting to give them a good home with my husband. They make us so happy, and we love spoiling them and giving them as much love as they can possibly handle. Boots is a precious kitty.

Jinx

Ashtabula County Animal Protective League
Submitted by Lynda Tersigni: I helped save more lives during the $100K Challenge by volunteering at the shelter, fostering puppies and adopting my foster cat. Here is Jinx exploring the outside and probably thinking I need to mow the lawn.

Elena

Humane Society of Greater Dayton
Submitted by Melaney Wolf: I helped save more lives by becoming a volunteer photographer. This photo shows Elena, one of 250 dogs seized from a puppy mill. All of the dogs were living in filth with skin infections and other health problems. The Humane Society took excellent care of them.

Tucker & Bonnie

SICSA
Submitted by Sandy Spilker: I helped save more lives during the $100K Challenge by adopting two kittens. The only thing better than having one new kitten is having two new kittens! Though they look similar, they are not brother and sister. But Tucker and Bonnie are best friends and inseparable! We love our little tigers.

Max

Ashtabula County Animal Protective League
Submitted by Lynda Tersigni: I helped save more lives during the $100K Challenge by volunteering at adoption events held during the Challenge. Pictured here is Max, who seems to be saying, "My every happiness is in your hands."

Reese (WINNER)

City of Bloomington Animal Care and Control
Submitted by Jennifer Ashcraft: I helped save more lives by adopting Reese, my first dog. When I took him to meet my parents, they gave him a hedgehog toy, and it quickly became his favorite.

Simon

Great Plains SPCA
Submitted by Erin McNulty: I helped save more lives by being lucky enough to adopt Simon, a beautiful German Shepherd mix, whose sweet nature has rounded out our perfect trio! Our three dogs love sitting in size order. We are so happy to have met the wonderful folks at Great Plains SPCA who introduced our family to our perfect, new addition.
