this is disgusting. not that this has not happened before...but not on such a large scale. ..has it come to where all sanctuaries need to be inspected?? ,...BUT ....BY WHOM? yes--there are SO SO SO MANY OUT THERE WHO ARE KNOWN RTO BE 100% TRUSTWORTHY--and would NEVER allow this slip by. -and i hope some of these people will be sought and asked if they-or if not them-but-others they know...and others...known ..separately.. should inspect -w/o warning or notice ..thesae places. -not all-some are very highly regarded..and are out rescuing / speaking out/ making safe places---true safe places' --who can be left w/o inspection and more..if needed. i just wonder if this death-sanctuary ..might have started with good intentions-but-like so many-take in more than they can handle. it is obvious ..that the time has come ...NO. it came quite a long time ago--BUT. OTHERS..NOT AS BAD--DISCUSSED......and MAY be no blacklist- or basically- blacklisted due to why -and don't fake excuse those who lie- will be automatically put through the system-and as much-legal information will tip off character-via the person..and more. in this case- levels of bringing a cat or dog...in-to leave- levels of reason exist--in my thinking..? ibut very strictly -no. only real honest reasons= blacklisting---ie resale and bad enough illness to cause this. -mom ore dad etc dies-and family does nothing. ---automatic blacklist no adopting to any-ANY family members -of immediate and near immediate family to the one who died. --if the one the ..one who died ..if their loved one is left. --and yes--no way are they not known about. -it is ...- obviously blacklisting . as to who in the family-review..and ..in a way..like legal situations. --..well-they will be sent through the hole-and info-only legal-will be out on the table. -if more-then more (legal stuff) some family-say far away. no-blacklisting. -kids-depending on age-.and more. just many rules and some blacklisting is temporary in cases-like the above...and many many more-and due to the situation = length of time blacklisted. if one is given another cat or dog-..it will be marked. if given to one blacklisted. the one ..not blacklisted-but giving to one blacklisted-is automatically-blacklisted-temporary or not--to be figured out. but... with time i believe..more and more of the people who adopt..as always..love. and--..that is that. but some..may simply..be raised in ways where ..things are different. ***as for abuse etc-different case.-but...in my thoughts: HUMILIATION. NO WAY OUT. ever. ever. and name known to all...FOR ever. ever. as for labs another case and fight real FIGHT. that is not a peaceful thing --but..not in this particular...case asking for funding is for space. old bldg etc ssee above/. s/n -but vet equipment (which is what will be the main part of the fund--as volunteers will fix the building etc...but-toxins ...NO. or anything of the like. and ..again. water/ electricity.---same as all town/city gets--and inspected on first day the place is running -and ...s/n --with love---. but water/ elec./ etc ---MONITORED. but water elec-----must be as said-----OR>>>>>> lies are made..ohoh. is it really worth it??? to LIE? it is not HUGEEEEEE $$$$$$ so-most fund $$ asked for--is vet equip.. for s/n-inc anesthesia---NO LOW-GRADE JUNK=---SEVERA; TYPES. -IT IS NOT ASKING A LOT!!!!! lies = .... well..put it this way.. lying: to be caught is certain--and.. well...why? -if lying..-well- think. as brought up long ago thinking caring etc is not that ...how ...life means ..more..than what now is slowly coming to: so many not fearing death as if it is part of life -death is part of ..mortality but to not fear death... i ... why? even other country. suicide to..do this that. kill ..so on. or keep silent..but forever. beliefs that many feel this life..this earth..all .. my GOD...is life...is this earth..it beauty..-not noticed? even if in a bad situation---one must find the will to not just live/survive/ but to ...see.. as i wrote awhile back- in a cell isolation YEATSSSSSS cement floor no bed or etc only a toilet. a small window-so-sealed and secure[and guaRDED OUTSIDE. TO LIVE? WHAT IS IT?JUST TH..this person..crying..trying to find a way to die...a person..killing many-by being a suicide (bomber)(as is most known)..but much more. suicide for so many other ..ways to ..usually--KILL. DISABLE OR ETC. . but this somewhat young--about 27..man..his country always so poor..ridden with disease..-but also-war..-always fight. - some turn to suicide to kill many -or disable or or or. ...can be due to needing offense as defense-or ..as /...is: offense. to not allow others to take all away from the little they already HAVE. and --to carry machine guns as a ...young child. -even girls now..armed--yet--still..not seen as equal. in some to many places. or..suicide for above --but also-beliefs. --some ..say.-that this life..world-is nothing. a test. a stop-over. -many reasons. -and often.,due to some much larger and powerful-but loving-? not sure on that?)//love is a big question anymore. it is .. if in belief -and know of..how can one not feel it? if not for themselves--MY GOD---FOR THOSE THEY LOVE????? belief is intensely powerful...but-to pass to kill..and die -to kill....and ultimately -wait for the total END OF LIFE. AND END OF THIS WORLD. ....AS IF ..NEVER HERE. MEMORY? HOW? PHOTSO AND MUSIC ART ETC SENT INTO SPACE -WHATEVERS..-IN TIME..IF FOUND BY..? -SHOWS..-YES. AN EXISTENCE. is this part of what the article is speaking. telling i say yes and all i wrote i ..would not be a FOOL-if i dod not feel so. change (which at this point is -funding. -saving rescue is no .longer enough) in other countries..worhtlessness-of..all animals-..and even some people... but we must NOW focus on our country oh YES military-defense is intensely important never ever deny that no matter if peace is so much in you it is in me..and so so so many AND WE WANT TO hope to ask and receive a not even HUGE or ..big or..--comparison is often an ugly word but in this it is not to compare funding -yes to to compare worth ...and in that way-making worthlessness part of who we..our country (?) but funding without.. breaking peace. is a deep hope. to ask for as little as possible but it is not possible to ask less. volunteers already cover so ugh others would maybe -likely ask-and receive---due to ...well. is it needed to be written? the equipment -as most of the fund AND if the govt congress media etc caed -finally made so so illegal the gassing machines to kill ---seeming fast-if not--die in time. intense torture is this our countries way people see it it is being done so-yes - if worthlessness remains cats dogs more -more more -if dismissed was ....waste. my GOD AGAIN WE NEED THE $$$ FOR PEOPL IN NEEED YES---WE DO AND MOST IS NEEDED AND GIVEN --BUT BUT WE WHO CARE AND TRY TO ASK..WITH DEEP TEARS LOST LOVE..ON THE EDGE OF DEATH WE ASK. The ASPCA says it has spent hundreds of thousands of dollars caring for cats from Caboodle Ranch, that they took away from their home in Feb. Imagine if it had spent some of that money on the ranch. The cats at Caboodle were not in dire need of medical attention, as Tim Rickey stated. Dr Dick Green later refuted that statement and said the majority of the cats DID NOT LOOK LIKE THOSE IN THE PETA VIDEO. I have been to the ranch; I have walked the fence line. It was a wonderful facility for unwanted, unloved and undesirable cats. Craig Grant also helped many people who were elderly and couldn't care for their cats anymore,and for those whose homes were foreclosed. He did not want to turn the cats out into the street to survive, or to shelters that would inhumanely kill them. The raid was a political ploy by PeTA because it wanted the Florida legislature to NOT bring the Florida Animal Rescue Act out of committee. PeTA prefers companion animals, cats & dogs, to be killed before they can be abused. There were some cats with URIs at CR when it was raided. I was at the latest civil hearing and saw pictures of captured CR cats in the ASPCA shelter--amazingly, three months later, some of the cats had URIs, and they were healthy when they were brought in. Is the care at ASPCA shelter deficient? The raid was a tragedy and I hope Judge Parker, who doesn't want to be known as the "cat killer," recognizes the value of the ranch. About 30,000 Caboodle fans do, and many, many will not donate to the ASPCA any longer because of the raid. This whole incident could have been handled so much more compassionately, more sensibly, and certainly more cheaply. Caboodle fans will not stop at just getting Caboodle cats back. We are organizing to help educate the general public on the duplicity of the ASPCA, and to show how small a percent of the funds raised actually go to help animals. ASPCA is big on corporate salaries, big on shelter kill rate, but not so big on doing the right thing with the animals they supposedly save. Our movement is growing everyday as more and more people learn about the dispersal of the donations. It's shameful.

Shame on the ASPCA and all who vilified caboodle.with all their millions of dollars spent on corporate salaries ,if they kept kaboodle open and implemented a staff to vet the cats consistently to help Craig..this wouldn't have to be..he needs help to manage the place properly..instead they destroy the property and round up the cats ,and will euthanize them eventually instead of helping him implement a successful well managed sanctuary..ASPCA needs to bE exposed as well as PETA for their lies and self serving agendas.

If people would help instead of blame and assault not only would we be able to live better lives, the animals would have a chance to as well. Why couldn't ASPCA go in there and help? How is closing up the place, hauling away the cats when they are likely to end up dead, going to benefit those cats in any way? How is going to benefit any of the elderly people who took cats there as the only way to keep them alive when they had to go into nursing homes? Why is it that even the groups that are supposed to be animal welfare continually resort to euthanization over helping someone who is willing to spend their time and money to do everything they can to give animals a chance to have a life? I have 4 well cared for cats and two of them are chronic upper respiratory. Should I be arrested? Should I be arrested if one of them dies? Of course some of the cats will be sick if there are a lot of them. I volunteer with a rescue and have worked with the humane society and a lot of cats come in with diseases. To expect them all to be healthy all the time is irrational. Germs happen with any large group of any animal or people especially when people are coming and going bringing in germs from outside. Think about it. Every day we send millions of children into large groups in schools where they all get sick by spreading germs between each other and occassionally it is something like meningitis and some die but we don't raid schools and put all the kids into foster care or arrest the principal. Why is it acceptable for us and not for cats. Why aren't you people raiding farms. Nobody cares if farm cats all get sick and die. Somehow our priorities seem to be getting all mucked up. If someone out there is willing to take on the care of animals nobody else wants to care for, then we should be doing everything we can to help them do it well. They are shouldering responsibilities that we should all be taking! Those animals deserve to live a life just as much as you people do.
